On the afternoon of July 28, the National Assembly approved the appointment of 4 Deputy Prime Ministers and 22 Ministers and heads of ministerial-level agencies according to the Prime Minister's proposal.
Mr. Le Minh Hoan re-elected as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development
Accordingly, the 4 personnel approved for the position of Deputy Prime Minister are Mr. Pham Binh Minh (Member of the Politburo); Mr. Le Minh Khai (Secretary of the Party Central Committee); Mr. Vu Duc Dam (Member of the Party Central Committee); Le Van Thanh (Member of the Party Central Committee).
Among the 18 personnel approved for the positions of Minister this time is Mr. Le Minh Hoan - Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Mr. Le Minh Hoan was born in 1961, is a member of the Party Central Committee, term XII and XIII, has held the positions of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Previously, on April 8, 2021, the 14th National Assembly approved the appointment of Mr. Le Minh Hoan as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The remaining personnel approved by the National Assembly for the positions of Ministers are: General Phan Van Giang - Minister of National Defense; General To Lam - Minister of Public Security; Mr. Bui Thanh Son - Minister of Foreign Affairs; Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra - Minister of Home Affairs; Mr. Le Thanh Long - Minister of Justice; Mr. Nguyen Chi Dung - Minister of Planning and Investment; Mr. Ho Duc Phoc - Minister of Finance.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Dien - Minister of Industry and Trade; Mr. Nguyen Van The - Minister of Transport; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi - Minister of Construction; Mr. Tran Hong Ha - Minister of Natural Resources and Environment; Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Minister of Information and Communications; Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung - Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat - Minister of Science and Technology; Mr. Nguyen Kim Son - Minister of Education and Training; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Long - Minister of Health.
The four people nominated for approval for other positions include: Mr. Tran Van Son - Minister, Head of the Government Office; Mr. Hau A Lenh - Minister, Head of the Ethnic Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong - Governor of the State Bank and Mr. Doan Hong Phong - Government Inspector General.
Thus, the 26 personnel approved by the National Assembly are all members of the 14th Government and continue to hold their current positions, except for Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh who will not be re-elected.
