Due to the complicated developments of the COVID-19 epidemic, Ho Chi Minh City opened more than 1,000 points of supply and distribution of essential food at stable prices to consumers.

The program has activated businesses in many different fields, connecting and supporting each other in the stages of purchasing, transporting, storing and distributing.

With this supply chain, the city's residents will have access to stable distribution channels with a scale of more than 1,000 additional points of sale, including 1,000 points of sale of Vinshop, 150 points of sale of the Con Cung system, 67 points of sale of Guardian Vietnam Company, 300 points of sale of Pharmacity, 36 points of sale of Nhat Tin Development Investment and Trade Company.

Postal systems, means of transport, and human resources of postal companies in the area are also flexibly promoted to participate in the circulation and distribution of goods and necessities with Viettel Post, Vietnam Post, GHN Express Delivery Company, GHTK Economy Delivery Company, Supership Vietnam Company, Proship, Koina, Nhat Tin Transport Company, ABA Cold Storage Company, One Mount Supply Chain Solutions Company.

Many other consumer goods stores such as The Face Shop cosmetics system (Hoa Sen Viet Group), Pizza4Ps restaurant chain, Yola English chain, and Hoa Yeu Thuong are also mobilized to participate in the program, ready to temporarily convert functions, use existing warehouses to participate in supplying vegetables, fruits, food and other essential goods to serve people's needs through e-commerce platforms.

In addition, the Department of Industry and Trade has coordinated with major e-commerce sites such as Tiki, Shopee, Lazada... to promote the sale of vegetables and fruits on these platforms, helping city residents access more food supply and distribution channels.

Previously, as of July 15, the Department of Industry and Trade had coordinated with distribution systems, commercial and logistics enterprises to organize 225 mobile sales points in districts, towns, and Thu Duc City.
