Gasoline and oil prices increase simultaneously

The Ministry of Industry and Trade—Finance has just said that at the gasoline price adjustment on July 12th, gasoline and oil prices increased simultaneously from 418 to 867 VND/liter.

At this adjustment, the Ministry of Industry and Trade—Finance said that the domestic pandemic situation continues to be very complicated in Ho Chi Minh City and many provinces and cities across the country, especially in the southern provinces. In order to support the production and business activities of enterprises and people's lives and limit the increase in gasoline and oil prices, the Ministry of Industry and Trade—Finance has continuously used the BOG Fund at a high level in general. Since the beginning of 2021, the BOG Fund has continuously spent at a high level on gasoline and oil, with a spending level of 100–2.000 VND/liter/kg.

Specifically, the Price Stabilization Fund has been set aside for some types of oil at the following levels: diesel oil set aside 200 VND/liter, kerosene set aside 300 VND/liter, and fuel oil set aside 300 VND/kg.

The expenditure for using the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products is at the following levels: the expenditure for using the BOG Fund for E5RON92 gasoline is 1,300 VND/liter, RON95 gasoline is 350 VND/liter, diesel oil, kerosene, and fuel oil are not spent.

After making the allocation and spending of the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund in Section 1 above, the selling prices of popular petroleum products on the market are as follows:

E5RON92 gasoline is sold at VND20,610/liter (an increase of VND850/liter compared to the current price). If this operating period does not spend VND1,300/liter from the BOG Fund, the price will increase by VND2,150/liter and the selling price will be VND21,910/liter.

RON95-III gasoline is sold at VND21,783/liter (an increase of VND867/liter compared to the current price). If the BOG Fund does not spend VND350/liter, the price will increase by VND1,217/liter and the selling price will be VND22,133/liter.

Diesel 0.05S is sold at VND 16,537/liter (up VND 418/liter compared to the current price).

Kerosene is not higher than VND 15,503/liter (up VND 452/liter compared to the current price).

Mazut 180CST 3.5S is not higher than VND 15,670/kg (up VND 221/kg compared to the current price).

The new selling price will be applied from 3:00 p.m. on July 12, 2021.
