At the conference, representatives of FDI enterprises in Bac Ninh province submitted 75 written opinions and 35 direct exchange opinions related to the entry of experts; measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic in industrial parks such as COVID-19 vaccination, SARS-CoV-2 screening tests for workers and drivers, and control of out-of-province labor; attracting investment in industrial parks;

The Government's tax exemption and reduction policy; environmental pollution issues in industrial parks; renovation and repair of traffic infrastructure in industrial parks; simplification of procedures for resolving insurance issues...

A representative of Phuong Hoang International Group Co., Ltd. proposed that Bac Ninh province have support policies to provide tax deductions during the epidemic prevention period for enterprises. At the same time, the company sent a document requesting banks to have support policies in reducing loan interest rates; reducing electricity and water bills for businesses directly affected by the COVID-19 epidemic.

J.H.COS vina Company Limited requested the Provincial People's Committee and Bac Ninh Electricity Company to overcome the situation of weak electricity and sudden power outages that have significantly affected the production and business activities of businesses.

Some other businesses requested Bac Ninh province to support businesses to quickly access vaccine sources to vaccinate workers.

Representatives of FDI enterprises make recommendations to the leaders of Bac Ninh province.

After receiving questions and recommendations from businesses, the leaders of Bac Ninh province and the departments, branches, sectors, and functional agencies of the province answered frankly, focusing on the issues that businesses are concerned about.

At the same time, the provincial leaders committed to resolving those issues as soon as possible; For issues not directly answered at the conference, the province will synthesize and consider handling in writing. For issues not under its authority, the province will synthesize, ask for the Central Government's opinion, and soon have a response.

To date, Bac Ninh province has a total of 1,674 valid FDI projects with a total registered investment capital after adjustment of 20.14 billion USD, ranking 7th in the country in terms of investment capital scale.

In the first 6 months of 2021, despite the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has had a profound impact on all socio-economic sectors, Bac Ninh is determined to fulfill its tasks well. The total product in the province is estimated at 61.1 trillion VND, up 7.45% over the same period. State budget revenue reached 16.02 trillion VND, up 7.5% over the same period.

The industrial production index increased by 10.88% over the same period. The total import-export turnover of goods reached 35.2 billion USD, up 27.5%; of which, goods export is estimated at 19 billion USD, up 29.5% over the same period.

On this occasion, Bac Ninh province launched a rapid response team to support businesses. Thereby affirming its determination to create the most favorable conditions for FDI enterprises to "steadfastly overcome difficulties with the province" and restore production.

At the same time, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province awarded certificates of merit to enterprises with outstanding achievements in fulfilling their obligations to pay the State budget in 2020.
